The Cordless Magic Clip, Cordless Senior, Cordless Super Taper and Cordless Legend have an overload prevention circuit built in. The clippers LED will flash quickly 5 times when excessive blade load is detected, the unit will automatically shut the power down and the clipper will no longer switch on. To re-boot your 5V clipper you should: Switch the clipper off and inspect the blades for any foreign objects or debris, clean the blades and oil. Plug the transformer into the clipper, switch the transformer on, this will reset the clipper, remove the transformer lead and switch the clipper on, it should function normally. Should the clipper fail to function after the reset process it should be returned for inspection.
